DECEMBER: Out with the old, Update to the new!

Happy December! Can't believe next month will be 2012! I'm absolutely ready for the new year, changes.... to finally quit my job! I feel like my silly retail job has been taking my focus for months! It's time to refocus and hit life harder than before! There's a fire within that's been burning. Refuse to contain it anymore. I dont want to become a bundle of repressed emotion slowly ticking then EXPLODE!! I'm also NOT ok with these exhausting feelings, life should be exhilarating! Tired of this little world taking more out of me than it should. I feel like "What am I doing here?" "I know I dont belong here!" "What can I do to change the situation?" "This is only temporary, one day this will only be a memory". I can go on. Thing will change, its eventual. Patience, faith, HOPE!! Meanwhile, I'm sooo over and out with the old! A Very Stylish Girl: My Tribute(pt1): To Audrey Hepburn

Bonjour!
Its been far too long since i've last shot! Lots of changes, had to focus on my new job but now i'm back in action! Each day working a little harder to come closer to my goals & dreams. Today I spontaneously decided to join Shelly on her shoot with Zombiefoto! We took a few shots locally at the "Cafe Audrey" off Hollywood Blvd. Even got a celebratory drinky-poo at Cabo Cantina afterwords (had a glass of champagne, that massive margarita was a fun table decoration!) Audrey Hepburn has ALWAYS & will continue to inspire me as an actress/humanitarian. So here's a few behind the scenes... how do i look? I'm BACK & Ready for ACTION!!

I've been taking this last month to adjust to new routines & such. Transition in life can be draining, frustrating, requiring constant focus. I'm still in practice but now I've gotten a better grasp of my life. So, continuing to move forward wiser & taking you along for the ride of our lives! Be on the look out for more blogging, tweeting, photo shoots + all that fun stuff! Summer is upon us... let the good times roll!!

"Do you believe in magic in a young girls heart. How the music can free her, whenever it starts." I certainly believe in the magic of music! It's springtime again and now I'm understanding more about LOVE. I recently tweeted about companionship + love. I am planning on venturing beyond the "romance layer". Love is so multidimensional! Been really chewing on this and I cant wait to go further on Cafe Danielle this week! On a personal note, I realized that I've been neglecting my true love... MUSIC! My soul even feels tougher without it! Singing is where I find joy. My life's lacked it and started making me musically unmotivated. Then, that negativity trickled into other aspects of my life. Don't we all need to maintain our passions/love? My life certainly feels unsatisfying and somewhat empty when I'm not singing. I will also talk more about this in general + more during Cafe Danielle! Until then, here is a video and inspirational piece Shelly showed me displaying the strong, free-spirited, flapper embracing life. :)

"Cameras Are Flashin': Gimme, Gimme More"

This weekend we shot the final scene of the first "Sprinkles" episode! (If you haven't seen the trailer check it out on youtube! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQzbzdluIhU) The shoot went great and we got to take the new groovy RV! It makes such a difference! Our location was near Malibu beach. Behind the scenes + more will be shared on youtube & Shellymartinez.org! Meantime, below is a picture from that day!
